It had black painted hair, blue clothing and boots, which were part of the figure itself. It had a separate cream hat and waistcoat and chocolate brown chaps and spurs. He came with a silver gun, a bowie knife, and a frying pan. There was also a similar Indian figure, which may have been called Geronimo? Regards, Felix.

ACTION FIGURE - EMERGENCY TV SHOW
I am a long time fan of the television show Emergency. I am a huge fan of Randolph Mantooth and have always wanted an action figure doll of his character John Gage. I like Roy DeSoto, too, but my favorite is Johnny! Where can I find one? Many thanks, Kim.

ACTION FIGURE - GI JOE (1964)
I have five 12" 1964 G.I. Joes. Two have slick, dark brown hair. Another one has slick, reddish brown hair. These three have scars on their right cheeks. I have two others with fuzzy brown hair, beards, and mustaches. Those have pullout dogtags that operate their internal voice boxes. On a separate note, I have a 1966-68 Ideal 12" monster doll with a pull-off mask. I do not know specifically which dolls these are or their values. If you have more information, let me know.

ACTION FIGURE - GIJOE and BIG JIM
I own two unopened toys. One is a GI Joe helicopter from the 1960's. The second is a Big Jim sports camper. The helicopter is from when GI Joe was twelve inches tall and you could pull on GI Joe's dog tag to make him talk. What are these worth?

ACTION FIGURE - LUNG MAN
I'm looking for information on a doll made by Mattel in 1979. I believe he's called Lung Man. His chest is clear, showing his "lungs" and "arteries" and "veins." When you push a button in his back his lungs inflate, and "blood" pumps through his "blood vessels."

AGELESS TOY
Which Ageless Toy was built using dogs and knucklebones? Thanks, Lisa.

AIRCRAFT - DAREPLANE
I've got a toy called a Dareplane. It is a bi-plane that flies around a tower which houses a motor. A thin cable between the tower and the bi-plane provides the bi-plane's propellers with thrust. It has control sticks that control the pitch and prop speed. The plane flies around in a circle and was a lot of fun. However, I am missing a part to the tower. It's best described as an access panel to where the motor and cable are attached. It also serves to keep other parts together. We recently found the replacement cable that we probably ordered back in 1972. I attempted to fly it, but the cable kept coming loose. I am hoping to find the access panel part in hopes my Dareplane will fly again.

AIRCRAFT - DAREPLANE - 2
Where can I buy a Dareplane? It was made by Mattel in the 1970's. Thank you, Dan.

AIRCRAFT - FISHER PRICE JUMBO AIRPLANE

AIRCRAFT - PLANE - RUBBER BAND LAUNCHED
In the late 1950s and early 1960s I owned little toy jetplanes. They launched with a rubberband. They were about 3" to 5" wide and looked like a cross between an F-104 and a Flying Wing. They were made of hard plastic and probably extremely dangerous, but the most enjoyable toy I ever had! They cost a dime at the penny candy store across the street from my grandmother's house in Buffalo. Where can I find one?

AIRCRAFT - PLANE and HELICOPTER
Who sells a toy plane and helicopter for children to play with? We will order a lot if the price is good. Best regards, Wang.

AIRCRAFT - WHIRLYBIRD COPTERS
Do you have any information on a toy helicopter that I had in the early to mid 1970's. I think it was called a Whirlybird. It was battery operated and had two controls (up/down and forward/reverse); it flew in a circle approximately 40 inches in diameter. Thank you.

ANASTASIA BARTOK TOY
We have a Bartok toy from Anastasia. I'm not sure where it came from, but it is kind of stuffed and he has a bone in his claws and it snaps together. He has Velcro wings. Bartok says three different things. He says: "I'd give her a ha, and a hi-ya!", "Mayday, Mayday!", and one other thing. What is the third phrase? It sounds like: "Hey Fred, I need a tequila!" Or as one person believes: "To crash is a killer". If you could help it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

ANASTASIA BARTOK TOY - RESPONSE
The third thing which Bartok says is: "Stress is a killer."

ANIMAL BLANKET
I found a bear blanket in the Current magazine and bought it for my grandson. When I got the box, there was a Dalmatian on the picture also. Is it possible to get the Dalmatian, as well, and can you tell me where I can locate their animal blankets? Thank you.

ANNABELLE'S WISH - COW PLUSH - 1
I am in contact with a disabled child who has a birthday coming soon. His main wish is an Annabelle Wish Cow. This proves to be a stuffed calf with reindeer antlers, from the movie Annabelle's Wish . It sits about four inches high, not including the antlers. It still has the hangtag attached and is in mint condition. BINGO - RESPONSE - DR. TOY
I would suggest contacting a reference librarian at the nearest large. Do let us know what you find out.

BINGO - RESPONSE - RESPONSE
Bingo was "invented" in Italy in the 16th century as a form of the lottery; it was then known as Beano. In the 1920's, a man was watching a game of Beano at a county fair, and he overheard a lady (excited at winning the game) misuse the word "beano". She said "bingo". He decided to market the game under this new name. The church also helped the game's popularity, presenting it as a means of raising church funds. It's been popular ever since.

BUNNY
When my daughter was born she was given a stuffed bunny called Little Sleepy Eyes that came with a cassette. As she got older she always had Sleep Eyes (her name for the bunny) with her and as she would go to sleep she would chew on the end of its nightcap. Eventually she chewed a hole through it so we went out to find a replacement. We couldn't find the bunny, so we ended up with the Little Sleepy Eyes dog, which we named Junior. Well Junior and Sleep Eyes have been through quite a bit over the last two years and are really starting to show their wear. Unfortunately K-Mart, where we purchased the animals, no longer carries them. We can't find them anywhere. I've tried Internet, telephone, and a variety of stores. I was hoping you may be able to give me some clue as to where I may be able to locate others, before the two we have completely fall apart. The only information I have is: The Little Sleepy Eyes line of stuffed toy animals was available from KIDSVIEW in Midland Park, NJ, according to the cassette tape that came with each of the animals. The tag on the animals read Kidsview TM of American Products, Ltd.

CASTLE PLAY SET
I am looking for a 4ft x 4ft castle that you can build, and then play with action figures with. Simba Toys manufactures it. We are doing a study unit on the medieval period, and this would really bring it alive for my little guys. Thanks, Cyberlynx.

CEREAL BOX TOYS - VINTAGE
I went to an auction and bought some toys. An older man at the auction told me they were cereal box toys. They are robot men on horses and two football players that are still in their packages. They are very old and have weights with a string that you put over the edge of a table to make them walk. Do you have any information on them that would be helpful? Thank you in advance.

CHITTY-CHITTY BANG-BANG TOY CAR
I have a three year old foster son who saw the movie Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and now all he wants is that toy car. I know they made them some time ago, as my friend's husband had one when he was a boy. My foster son even asked Santa for one. He is leaving me the week before Christmas. Please can anyone help me find one for him?

CIRCUS KEY CHAIN
Please help me. I don't know where to go to find this toy, and it is very difficult to describe. Maybe you can help me. I saw it at a club. A girl was wearing it on a Ringling Brother's circus key chain. It was one of those sports kind of key chains that you wear around your neck, but it had the circus' name on it. She said she got this toy from a vender at the circus. It at first looked like a plain black plastic ball attached to the key chain. In a way I guess it looked like a plain black plastic globe because it was attached to the key chain sort of the same way a three dimensional globe is attached to its base. But what I loved about this golf ball sized black Ball was that when you spun it around, different colored lights flashed on the inside. It was as if all of a sudden the ball was wearing numerous belts of every color of the rainbow. When it stopped spinning it all went black again. I don't know if it was friction or what, but it was one of the coolest toys I have ever seen. That is why I beg you, please, I will do anything to Acquire this toy. Unfortunately, the circus left that next day, and I never got the toy. So now I am on a quest. I would greatly appreciate any help you could give me in finding this toy. Or maybe even any information on who to contact in order to find this toy. Please

CIRCUS RING MASTER TOY
I am searching for a toy circus ring master. Something dramatic in both color and presence. He or she should be wearing the top hat and traditional ring master attire. If the toy speaks that would be a plus. Morris & Fellows, Inc.

CLACKERS
I want to know the name of this 1970's toy. It was comprised of a plastic ring. To the ring were secured two strings. Each string was in turn connected to a glass sphere. The object was to hold the ring and flip your wrist in order to make the two glass balls strike each other. This made a clicking sound. Shortly after marketing, the toy was recalled because the glass balls were breaking and causing injuries to eyes.

CLACKERS - 2
I'd like to give my brother a Clacker for his birthday with an old childhood picture of us holding our Clackers. Where can I find one?

COBBLER'S BENCH
I am looking for an old fashioned "Cobblers Bench" which is all wood and has colored pegs and a hammer. I bought one only 18 months ago. It's exactly like the one I had in the mid-1970's. Neither my friends nor I can find them now.

What is my ERTL Collectible Douglas DC-3 Die-Cast metal replica American Airlines Model #F312 mint in box worth? Ross.

COLLECTIBLE BEARS
In November 1998, we welcomed the first girl in thirty years into our family. I have decided to start a bear collection for her, but bear in mind (no pun intended), I don't know a good bear from a bad one. I have looked at Bearington and at Boyd's. While I have found them both very appealing, I am concerned that they are both made in China. Could you offer some suggestions for collectible bears, either stuffed or otherwise? Would you consider either Boyd's or a Bearington as a good choice? Are there any books you would suggest so that I may educate myself?

COLLECTIBLE BEARS - RESPONSE
There are two wonderful publications available at your local bookstore. One is Teddy Bears and Friends. It lists hundreds of stores, dealers, web sites and gives you a starting place. If you are concerned about buying a bear from China, how about using a teddy bear artist--an artist who hand makes teddy bears? Also there are several patterns available to make a teddy bear yourself. My mother made one for me; I am 40 years old and have been a collector of teddy bears since I was five.

COLORAMA DESK
I have a Colorama Desk that needs refills. I am unable to find any. I have called the customer service number (1-800- 366-9261), but it has been disconnected.

COLORED DIMENSIONAL BLOCKS
I am looking for an educational toy I played with in the mid-1970's to early 1980's. It was a set of small colored blocks in sizes based on the metric system. There were several shapes and sizes: one cm. (centimeter) by one cm. cubes, one cm. by ten cm. Rods, etc. Each size was a different bright color. My guess is that it was European or Canadian.

COMPANY - DIDDL STUFFED TOYS

COMPANY - VANDOR
I have been looking on the Internet for a company named VANDOR. My boyfriend's father had bought a collectible toy in Nantucket. I guess only six different ones were made. They come in a wooden box with a window so you can see the car. I think the name inside said Pepsin or something along those lines. The sticker on it said made in China. I don't know if you can be of any help, but I told him I would try to find the website for it if there was any. He would like to buy the other five, if possible. Thanks for your help, Stacy.

COMPUTER MOUSE
I'm looking for a three to four year old's version of a mouse or trackball. Where can I find one ? Thank you, Pete.

COMPUTER TOY
I am looking for a toy computer, suitable for child under three years old. It should look very similar to a real computer (keyboard, hard drive, and screen), but be smaller and obviously a toy (so that she won't confuse it with a real one). It does not need to do much, just look like a real computer. Thanks, Janet.

CONEHEAD FIGURINES
I have a set of six Conehead action figures. They are from 1993. They are in mint condition still in the original package unopened. They are made by Playmate. CONSTRUCTION TOY - BLOCKS - PLASTIC - FLEXIBLOCKS
During the late 1980's I purchased a Lego type block that had plastic hinges at each end of the blocks. This made the finished construction flexible. I believe they were called Flexblocks. Where can I buy more?

CONSTRUCTION TOY - BLOCKS - WOOD - CLOWNS
I have been looking for a set of wooden toy building blocks of clowns. They balance in different ways when you stack them. I found them on Ebay for more than $50. I saw them at a museum store in Boston in the 1990's, so someone was manufacturing this great 1950's toy. Sifo made the original ones, and I think they were called Bill Ding Blocks. I recall the new ones having Bill in the title, too. Thanks, Kathryn.

CONSTRUCTION TOY - FLEXIBLOCKS
Where can I find Flexiblocks? These are made by Flexitoy, and resemble Legos with hinged ends. I heard that they are advertised on television, but I have been unable to locate the manufacturer. Thanks, Lynne.

CRANE
Where can I find a sturdy crane for my five-year-old son? Ideally it would be made of metal and extremely robust. Tony.

CRAYOGRAPH
An uncle of mine is looking for an old kind of crayon called Crayograph. Have you ever heard of these, and do you know where can I buy some?

CRAYOLET CRAYONS
I recently came across a box of very old crayons with the name Crayolet on the front. They were made by Binney & Smith (the same company listed on my box of Crayola crayons). It also has 10 cents printed right on the top corner of the box but there is no date found. Can you tell me the story on this box of crayons? Were these made before Crayola? There are 11 (12 box set) crayons still inside. Partially used but all wrappers are still intact. Do you know if this box of crayons has a value?

CREEPY CRAWLERS
I have been trying to find Creepy Crawlers for my seven year old. I know the one I used to have was manufactured by Mattel. I have been to (Chicago area suburbs) K-Bee Toys, Toys R Us, Noodle Kidoodle and Target. Can you help?

CREEPY CRAWLERS - RESPONSE
I was looking for Creepy Crawlers to make dampening pads for my snowboard bindings. I found that Creepy Crawlers is now made by Toymax . Their site contains links to Goop. Be careful, I burnt the window out of my unit when I was eleven, six long years ago.
